Minority reports

Over-the-shoulder / medium-long shot
The over-the-shoulder angle allows a point-of-view shot from the perspective of the man reading the newspaper. The medium/long shot allows enough background to establish the location as a metro train. The over-the-shoulder shot means the following shots, with the newspaper-reading man recognizing the fugitive, are easy for the audience to interpret. The concept of a fugitive on a mission to clear his name is a classic Action Adventure quest narrative, with many obstacles and challenges ahead before the main protagonist (hero Tom Cruise) can succeed.

This may be because he is the police officer because he is one too so he knows what is going to happen.
